Thomas E. Black, Jr.

Thomas E. Black, Jr. is the managing partner of Black, Mann & Graham, LLP, a firm he founded in 1997. The firm has offices in Dallas, Flower Mound and Houston, Texas with over 130 employees. Tom practices in the area of residential real estate law and represents clients that include Wells Fargo, Chase Bank, SunTrust, AmTrust, GMAC, Ditech, Flagstar Bank, HSBC and Met Life Home Loans.


Tom was admitted to the practice of law in New York in 1979. In 1994 he was admitted to the Texas Bar. In 1976 Tom received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1979. He received his Masters in Business Administration from The University of Notre Dame on May 18, 2008.


Tom served as General Counsel to Goldome Realty Credit Corporation from 1982 to 1985. From 1985 to 1995 he held senior positions with several nationwide mortgage companies including Empire of America Realty Credit Corp., Foster Mortgage and Victoria Mortgage.


Tom is a frequent lecturer at mortgage-related seminars. He was awarded the Faculty Fellow Award (1991) and the Master Faculty Fellow Award (2000) by the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. Tom also received the University at Buffalo Law Alumni Association’s 2008 Distinguished Alumni Award.


Tom is active in the area of community service. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Christian Community Action, Inc. and on the Boards of the North Dallas Shared Ministries and the North Texas Food Bank.


He serves as Chairman of The Dean’s Advisory Committee of the University at Buffalo Law School and was a member of the Search Committee for the new Dean. He serves on the University Life Advisory Board for the University of Notre Dame. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Alliance for Catholic Education at the University of Notre Dame and the Parents Advisory Council for St. Mary’s College.


He is also a member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. He is a past President of the Texas Association of Mortgage Attorneys and was General Counsel for Texas Mortgage Brokers Association.


Tom, his wife Bridget, son Ryan and daughter Erin are residents of Flower Mound, Texas.

 

Calvin C. Mann, Jr.

Calvin C. Mann, Jr. has practiced real estate law in the state of Texas since 1973.  Mr. Mann’s affiliations include the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, where he has served as Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, and on the Convention and Long Range Planning Committees. He is currently a member and Director of the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association and Greater Houston Association of Mortgage Brokers. He is also a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women-Houston.

 

Mr. Mann graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1970 and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston College of Law in 1973. In August of 1999 Mr. Mann obtained the highest accolade awarded by Martindale-Hubbell; an AV rating. In 2004 Mr. Mann was accepted for membership in the Texas College of Real Estate Attorneys.

 

Gregory S. Graham

Gregory S. Graham has practiced in the areas of real estate, litigation, and bankruptcy law since 1989, and is currently licensed in Texas and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. In 1986, Mr. Graham graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law at Dallas in 1989.

 

Mr. Graham’s affiliations include the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association, where he serves as a Director and Chairperson of the Legislative Committee; Dallas/Fort Worth Mortgage Brokers Association, where he serves as Legal Counsel; National Association of Mortgage Brokers; Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers; and Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.

Benjamin R. Idziak

Benjamin R. Idziak is a private practice attorney representing and advising individuals, corporations, partnerships and sole proprietorships in the areas of regulatory compliance, litigation, corporate law, employment law, real estate transactions, commercial transactions and mergers/acquisitions.
 

Mr. Idziak formerly served as a litigation attorney for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and was the former General Counsel to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas.

Mr. Idziak holds a Bachelor of Chemistry from State University of New York at Buffalo and received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. Mr. Idziak is admitted in Texas and New York.

 

 

Diane M. Gleason

Diane M. Gleason has practiced Regulatory Compliance and Real Estate Law in the state of Texas since 1993. Ms. Gleason’s affiliations include the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Association of Professional Mortgage Women and Texas Mortgage Bankers Association. 
 

Ms. Gleason holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas in Austin. In 1992, Ms. Gleason received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston. 

David F. Dulock
David F. Dulock has been admitted to practice law in the State of Texas since 1974. He practices in the areas of residential and construction mortgage lending and state and federal regulatory compliance. Mr. Dulock received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, in 1967, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas, in 1974. 

Mr. Dulock’s affiliations include the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Association of Professional Mortgage Women, and the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, where he served on the Regulatory Compliance Committee. 

Shawn P. Black
Shawn P. Black has been admitted to the practice of law since 1992, and is currently licensed in Texas and New York. Mr. Black received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo. 

Mr. Black has served as western New York counsel to Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, and has managed the residential real estate department for one of Buffalo’s largest law firms. Mr. Black’s areas of practice include real estate law and title insurance. 

Margaret A. Noles
Margaret A. Noles has practiced law in the areas of real estate foreclosures and collections, evictions, probate, loan originations, construction lending and litigation since 1998. Ms. Noles is currently licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.


Ms. Noles earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Illinois in 1990 and earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas in 1997. Ms. Noles’ affiliations include the Houston Bar Association and Houston Association of Professional Mortgage Women.


Robert J. Brewer
Robert J. Brewer has practiced Real Estate Law in the state of Texas since 2004. Prior to being admitted to the practice of law, he marketed residential real estate, and brings to the firm 20 years experience in residential real estate transactions. 

Mr. Brewer received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, and his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2003.

Regina Uhl
Regina M. Uhl has been admitted to the practice of law in Texas since 2005.  Ms. Uhl has served as General Counsel to a national mortgage lender, and her practice areas include title insurance, real estate law and regulatory compliance.

 

Ms. Uhl received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dallas in 2000, and her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2005.

Ali Hedayatifar
Ali Hedayatifar  practices in the areas of  litigation, real estate transactions, secured transactions, creditor’s rights, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Hedayatifar’s litigation practice includes mortgage lending litigation, real estate litigation, fraud, breach of contract, negligence, and Deceptive Trade Practices. Mr. Hedayatifar advises lending institutions, privately held corporations and individuals.

 

Mr. Hedayatifar holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Baylor University and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Hedayatifar was a member of the Board of Trial Advocates and the National Mock Trial Team. Mr. Hedayatifar is currently licensed in Texas.
